  • I was in the sears grand store at I-35 and parmer lane two days ago when I saw a woman yelling angrily at a sears employee in a manner that was demeaning and loud enough for everybody within the cash register area to hear what she was saying. I inquired who she was only to find out that she was the manager of the store whose name was Laura somebody. I was totally shocked that in this day and age that this is how management communicate with staff members. Instead of taking this employee within the confines of an office she totally embarrassed this staff member publicly and in a derogatory manner. As a frequent shopper at sears who I hope respects my business I would like that manager reprimanded for her behavior which I get to understand from another employee is her regular disrespectful method of managing her staff. As a manager with a staff of 15 employees I find that you have more to gain from your staff if they are treated with respect instead of totalitarianism. As a human being in the 21st century I was just blown away at what I saw that day. Happy employees make managers look good. I am awaiting a response from you via email. Respectfully Yours,

I will see Kent when we go back to pick a differant machine.

I just purchased a complete set of kitchen appliances from your 09944 Bel Air Rd MD. Having worked Sears retail years I understand unreasonable customers. While the salesman was helping me locate what I wanted a customer who could see that has busy wanted help immediately. I told him to go ahead and I would continue to look. He did to the best of my knowledge help her but somewhere within the transaction she didn’t get the attention she required and called Corporate to complain.
She was totally out of line since the salesman was obviously waiting on me first and has asked me if he could answer her questions. I don’t know the associates name but his employee number is 992826 and I would be disappointed to find out some action was taken against him, actually if I could I would file a complaint against this woman.
